Your Vacation Fund is a great benefit of being a member of UA Local 290. As your union credit union, United Trades wants to do all we can to help you make the most of it (whether you’re a United Trades FCU member or not). Your Vacation Fund account earns interest and is insured by NCUA, so you know your money is safe, secure—and growing.
How your Vacation Fund works.
- Your employer makes contributions based on the number of hours you work in a month.
- Your employer submits contributions to the trust office, which verifies totals and sends them to United Trades FCU to be deposited into your union Vacation Fund.
- It takes about two months for us to receive your deposit—so your account balance may not match your pay stub.
- We’ll email you each time we receive a deposit.

Pay union dues
Pay UA Local 290 union dues automatically from your Vacation Fund.

Automatically contribute to the UA Local 290 Political Action Committee (PAC) from your Vacation Fund.
